I moved to Omaha this past June from Chapel Hill, NC. Graduated last May from a small women’s liberal arts college. . . and now I’m halfway across the country without my two non-straight friends. Usually, it doesn’t bug me, until I need to vent about the silly things straight people say in their well-intentioned ignorance. Then I feel awfully lonely and like the Last Unicorn.
