Afraid I’m not living in London at the moment, but lived there for 20 years so have plenty of advice :) Check out http://boards.gingerbeer.co.uk/ for what’s going on, there are plenty of meet ups and events which you could go to.   BEST advice given above is to go East! To me it’s much more chilled an atmosphere, and it feels more like real London.
  In Soho though, Ku bar gets my vote.

    I seem to hear this a lot, but where do you actually advise to go to? From what I can tell on the internet Ghetto seems to be closed and Dick and Fanny doesn’t happen very often .. and I can’t figure out if Trash Palace is the same as Ghetto. All the websites seem to be very out of date

      there’s twat boutique and unskinny bop which you definitely need to check out. i’d also advise just going on a general bar crawl, basically it’ quite difficult to go wrong :)
