  1. As a lesbian who absoutely loves rom-coms I will say that it is long overdue for us to have rom-coms about us made. At the same time I’ll always watch those I’ve watched for years because they make me happy (just like musicals, and the majority of those I love are pretty straight too) and they still make me believe that I too can find happiness. So I’ll always be a rom-com supporter.
