Hi! A thing I’d forgotten about having a cat is how SILENTLY they move about a home! One minute you think she’s upstairs looking out the window, when suddenly ha ha there she is! Halfway up the Christmas tree with a catnip mouse in her mouth and something like revenge in her eyes. Every day is an adventure.

  1. I was disappointed that I couldn’t find anything about Rosetta Tharpe in the African America Museum of History and Culture in DC! I can’t be sure that she was excluded because the museum is so extensive, but I scoured the music exhibit in particular and found no mention of her. That being said, I’m thrilled that she will be inducted along with Nina Simone!

  2. That story on coming out to rural doctors!

That there isn’t a nation-wide initiative to educate and train all primary care doctors on administering PreP is ridiculous. Not surprising, sadly, but absurd all the same.
