Have you done this yet?? DO IT PLZ. It’s time to participate in the annual LGBTQ Community Survey! This survey provides data to “assist nonprofits, corporations and governments in better understanding and serving the LGBTQ community” but coolest of all for us, if enough of you participate, we also get to see reader-specific data, which helps Autostraddle better understand Y-O-U, which is honestly all we ever want to do! I’ll be reminding you about this throughout April (the survey closes May 15), so if you take it now you’ll have over a month to feel that smug satisfaction of already having done the thing that someone is asking you to do. That is my gift to you.

  1. That article about breakfast is only true for a very specific group of people – those who live in large cities with bad public transit and big traffic problems. It’s fascinating that it’s written as though it’s universal. I promise you, in a lot of the United States, the busiest time you could visit a restaurant for breakfast is 8 am on a weekend morning.

  2. I wish that article about stalking had been available back when I was in college. I looked for something like it but only found victim blaming. (I’m OK now; that was a long time ago.)
