All The Queer Valentine’s Day Parties That We Know About

What are you doing on Valentine’s Day? Oh, you don’t know yet? What, you don’t plan out your February 14 activities and outfit months in advance? Cool, me either, it’s no big deal. (Just kidding, me and my boo have already pre-ordered our food for the evening and I made my V-day tights last week).

For those of you still figuring out what you’re doing – whether that’s looking to find a cutie or already have one attached to your hip – we’ve scoured the internet for the hottest queer parties around North America. This is by no means a comprehensive list so let us (and all the queers in your area know) what’s happening around your neck of the woods.

        • there’s a bus stop right across the street, not sure what lines though because I drive. if you go on the mbta website they have a trip planner that will tell you what routes to take, or you can use google maps and select the public transit option.

        • From Allston, you can either take the B line to park street and walk over to DTX. Midway is at the Stony Brook stop (you’ll want to go toward forest hills) or you can take the 66 (you can catch it at the corner of Commonwealth and Harvard. Take that to Jamaicaway and transfer to the 39, which goes to forest hills. From there, you’d take the orange line two stops to stony brook. I live in Brighton and my girlfriend lives right by the forest hills stop, so it’d be easier and faster for me to take the buses, but they’re always super packed so I usually just take the train.

    • Rose,
I found these in the email I get from queeragenda dot com. I went to one night stand last month and had a blast, so I’m going again this month. Pretty sure the event that is supposed to happen tonight at machine is being rescheduled.

      • Machine is “rescheduled” to 4th Saturday, but only because that was already planned. Dyke Night at Machine is apparently every 2nd and 4th Saturday from now on.

W.r.t. One Night Stand- rumor has it it’s a butch/femme mixer thing. Is it? The majority of my friends and I tend to be more of femme-loving femmes and were thus skeptical about going.

        • OMG!
One Night Stand is becoming one of the biggest events around. Yes there is a Butch/femme mixer to help break the ice. But let me tell you all types of ladies/girls come in!

The music is off the wall, we play current/pop/throwbacks/ dance/ latin…….you name it,you will hear hear it!

I hope you decide to come check out our next event on 03/16/13!! It is our Erin GO Braless party!!

  1. I live in Poland, and I’m jealous! because in Poland we don’t have special party for lesbians… this is sad.
We do not even partnerships, same-sex marriage, legal adoption. We have nothing. This is polish reality. Americans are lucky.
Btw. If you want to feel like in the Middle Ages, come to Poland! 😀 Greetings from fucking Dark Ages, M.
