  1. A thing I never know if I’m doing right is that if I order sth through the affiliate link with amazon but then it switches me to the canadian store does that still benefit AS or is it only applicable if the purchase is made through the US site?

  2. Two things all perfume are unisex perfume seeing as smell is just marketing. Like one company will call a certain scent for all, while another markets a very similar scent for men. Second point, if you are in the L.A. area, my store has the larger bottle(3.4oz) of The Beat for not much more than what Amazon has the 1oz fore. Plus, buy from my store means you are supporting a straddler(in this case a Middle Eastern Trans queer)!

  3. Who has enough business savvy to make my “clothing store for lesbians who like hiking but do no wear brown or navy” dreams come true?

  4. Well thanks for mentioning the modcloth sale because I forgot I had a $44 credit there and added to the 30% off I’m getting boots and a skirt for $8.88 including shipping.
    MERRY XMAS YA’LL

  5. I’ve been loving all of the Holigay gift guides and sales but is there a possibility of doing one for plus sizes?

  6. I really want to shop at Wildfang but there’s a combination of 1) affordability and 2) lack of size diversity. It sucks that a feminist queer store can only bring itself to stock up to size XL. Queer folks are fat too! Queer fat tomboys exist! We’re here! I will however, buy some stuff from the Autostraddle store :)

  7. I want to like Wildfang, I REALLY DO, but everytime I go on there I feel so out of place just looking at the clothes. Maybe it’s the prices or because all the models look like they’re judging me for not being cool enough or for not having the right body shape for all their stuff. I get a “You Can’t Sit With Us” vibe every time.

    • I’m impressed you had the guts to even step in the door

The whole time I lived in Portland, I’d imagine, “maybe today”.

      But then I’d think

      1. I cannot make eye contact with the willowy, giant-eyed cheekbones who work there while dressed in too-big-for-me thrift store clothes,

(not thrift store clothes in the trendy, “vintage finds” way; thrift store clothes in the “I am a part time dishwasher and this is all I can afford and I needed pants” way), and

      2. If I can barely afford to shop at Buffalo Exchange, I absolutely cannot afford to even look at the front door of Wildfang

      – it remains an elegant, out-of-reach mystery to me.

Also almost everything they sell – like other than wildfang branded items – can also be bought on Amazon / other stores, potentially cheaper, so idk what the point of wildfang is

      • I just mean going on the website (reading it back I see that I was unclear), I can’t even imagine going into a physical store! My anxiety would never recover.
