  1. Where did the gorgeous human in the second photograph get those super cool yellow sneakers? Also I want that Karla’s Closet dress so very much!

  2. YESSSSSSSSSSSSS. This seems like an excellent place to cry about the fact that it’s been years and I’ve yet to find a pair of perfect white pants.

I want them to fit like a pair of Samantha Pleet jeans, almost absurdly high-waisted, I want them to not be actual jeans, I want the fabric to flow over my legs like water, but be heavier and more supple than silk, I want them to be off-white, but only the tiniest bit, and I want them so industriously lined that I could fearlessly wear a pair of Dear Kate period panties underneath if I goddamn felt like it. ON DAY 2.

Until then I’m just going to keep forlornly collecting dresses and blouses in dairy tones.

  3. My mom would never buy me white clothing as a kid so ofc when I turned 18 everything had to be white. Stained it all and now I stick to white tees. XL boys tees fit perfectly and are 8/$12 so I don’t feel so bad when they have to be cut up for cleaning rags when they get stained.

    • I haven’t done this, but I just had a thought that one could splash colourful paint strategically over the stains on white t shirts and go for an arty “I just left the studio” vibe.

I actually did this on a pair of denim shorts with oil stains and it looks cool!

  4. Lydiaaaaaaaaa, are you inside my head? All white everything has been my summer go-to!

A note to novices: drink white wine, invest in bleach.
