VIDEO: Look How Cute These Lesbians Are In This Hallmark Ad

I’ve always loved Hallmark commercials because they’re so heartfelt without being sappy. They usually hit me right in my heart space and I might even shed a tear. Hallmark’s latest ad campaign encouraging people to go beyond saying “I love you,” is no different in making me feel all gooey inside.

The Youtube video features an irl lesbian couple, Eugenia and Corinna, talking about how they first met and saying the sweetest things about each other. This is the first time Hallmark has featured lesbians in a campaign.

The adorable couple are interviewed separately and both sincerely speak about their love for one another. Did I mention that both their glasses are so rad? Because they are. At one point, they’re asked to describe their feelings for each other without using the word love. Then they’re brought back together to watch what they had to say about each other.

The results are tears. They’re crying, you’re crying, everyone’s crying. Ugh, so cute.

  1. Maybe it was just me, but Eugenia reminded me a little of Rachel Maddow. But, both are super adorable. Makes me want to find my Rachel Maddow.

    • I couldn’t quite put my finger on it, but Eugenia did remind me of someone, I just didn’t know who. Rachel Maddow, makes a lot of sense! Yes, I should’ve known.

  2. I’m jealous of their glasses, their love, and their names. Eugenia and Corinna?! Are you serious?! Those are names given to characters in a sappy short story all about shared respect, love and eye-doctors.

  3. I CANT. SO MANY FEELINGS. GOING TO EXPLODE.

Really though, I f-ing hate Hallmark but this commercial is adorable and I wish I were dating both of them. Job well done.

    • Hallmark wants to keep me in a state of a glitter combustion because they had Kitty Bowl yesterday and I could not take it.

Now this!? I’m going to need these motherfuckers to chill because this was just too cute and I’m feeling slightly worried for my state of being.
