Unicorn Plan-It Episode #3: A Single Ceremony

It’s time for another episode of your favorite thing in the entire world, Unicorn Plan-It, Autostraddle.com’s first-ever original narrative webseries! The premiere has already racked up 13,058 views on YouTube which means we’re ten steps away from taking over the world!

Just to refresh:

UNICORN PLAN-IT is a tight little comedy best described as Modern Family meets Kell on Earthmeets “a bunch of hot lesbians in West Hollywood.” Has anyone made a show about that last one?

Three co-workers, one crazy boss and one enlightened fairy-tale-haired spiritual healer face the slings and arrows of everyday life as event planners and ladykillers and homosexuals.

“We refer to everyone as Unicorns, because gay people love them, because they are magical and lovely, and also, they are really just lesbian horses. Obvs. Holler. UNICORN PLAN-IT…Get horny.”

This show is written, directed, produced and edited by Real Lesbian Females who want to make you laugh, make you proud of who you are and generally make your life better in every way. Who are these real lesbian females? Haviland Stillwell (TV/Broadway actressrecording artistvlogstar, voice of Yasmin in THE BRATZ!), Sarah Croce (Actress, Miss AprilGirl TalkFake-Whitney) and Ashley Reed (writer, upcoming film HART’S LOCATION, once recorded a song for you). This episode also features comedian Sherri D. Sutton and actors Catherine Wadkins and Amir Levi.

If you live under a rock or were playing in the mud at some music festival/pride celebration/backyard barbecue last month, go catch up with the first two episodes, then pop some popcorn and sit down at your computer and prepare yourself for nearly ten minutes of non-stop satisfaction.

This week’s episode features guest stars the lovely writer/actress/lez-about-town Rachel Paulson (fun fact: her sister Sarah Paulson is an incredibly talented very good-looking lesbian) and Malcolm Devine!

  1. I’d definitely consent to a co-single ceremony with Sarah Croce. I’d even let her plan it. Maybe it’s time to take Unicorn Plan-It out of the realm of fiction and write up a business plan.

  2. I think I’m too sober for this. I will return after greeting this bottle of wine, and I will have an opinion then.

  3. So fantastic. Keesha is definitely my favorite. Her at the bar = me, all the time. Forever alone! *tear*

  4. “transition to the most manly men.. the Black man!”

Did anyone else find this line horribly offensive?

  5. Good acting, because I’m willing to bet that bar situation has never happened to Sarah Croce in real life!

Loved Haviland’s ‘If you want to call a three year situation a phase to make yourself feel more significant, that’s totally fine. Love n light’ amazing comic timing.

  6. lololol Vagitarian…never gets old.

Okay, this one has won me over – the production seems to be getting better and better, and it’s getting funnier. And the lower thirds are still my favourite thing.

  7. I was going to quote my favorite line, but then I would have had to quote pretty much the whole episode. And the scissors-bump thing is my favorite thing ever!

  8. Thanks so much for watching! Poor J is a mess, but she loves those vegan muffins and Harmony!

  9. This episode just me okay with the fact that I am hungover in bed with a laptop. I want to be bros with Sarah and Ashley (okay, maybe a little more than bros)
