About 80% said it was because sometimes (the newsprint) gets their hands dirty...so we've accepted that roughly 80% of the students won't ever read our newspaper. It's sad that print is leaving so quickly. Even big newspapers like the Seattle Post-Intelligencer (the more liberal paper in Seattle) went out of print early this year. It's really nice to hear that the staff is trying to continue. They'll make it happen, in time, for sure At my school we once polled the students and asked why they didn’t read our paper.
