The Comment Awards Are Going To The Pool

Hello post-Memorial day friends. What have you done so far to celebrate? Have you gone to the pool? Have you worn white? Are there other things people do after Memorial Day? To celebrate, Rachel made a list of 7 things you can grill that aren’t hamburgers which included watermelon. Weird, right? Rachel, being the ever-ambitious woman that she is, also made horchata and mahamarra. In the realm of making things, I taught you how to whip up chapstick in your kitchen. Rachel reviewed Alison Bechdel’s new book, Are You My Mother? Jess interviewed Jill and Nikki from The Real L Word about their incubating baby, Scribegrrrl recapped the season finale of Lip Service, Carmen reviewed Moonrise Kingdom and Riese recapped the season finale of Glee. This week Crystal’s music fix included Metric and Amanda Palmer, Grace made a Tony nominee playlist, Laneia anticipated Bonaroo, Morgan made a Bonaroo days and nights playlist and Carmen went to see Drake in D.C..

  1. I don’t wanna be rude, but…you spelled “rien” in “je ne regrette rien” wrong. A lot of people do this, apparently itunes or some shit spelled it wrong and so people who don’t really speak French are firmly convinced it’s “rein.” But itunes also decided that Ziggy Stardust was actually Ziggy “Starsdust,” which confused the hell out of 13-year-old me… so basically don’t trust itunes. Wikipedia everything.
