  1. Ten years ago on this day, Massachusetts became the first state in the U.S. to legalize same-sex marriage. Today, 17 states and the District of Columbia have legalized same-sex marriage, and 9 other states are looking to do the same. So let’s celebrate these ten years of progress and look ahead with the hope of many more years to come!
