As you might already know, yesterday was Say Something Nice on the Internet Day. We came up with a few nice things to say and a bunch of you commented with nice things to say about us! What a wonderful day! One of you, member 0033232, went above and beyond the norms of niceness to write an Autoharp Ode to Autostraddle. That's right, she wrote a song about Autostraddle and filmed herself singing it while playing the autoharp.

Here's just a little taste of this hot Autostraddle song action:

Autostraddle in your face,
Sweeps the bloggies, in first place,
Why? Because it's fucking ace,
Winning every single race.

I think everyone just really needs to watch this now.

      So there I was yesterday, at school, in my SLG (Student Learning Group) session.

      Everyone, at once: Hey, so, how was your reading week?

      Girl to my right: It was neat. I got to volunteer to teach sex ed to high school kids.

      Me, on immediate tirade: OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME DID YOU GET TO TALK ABOUT QUEER SEXUALITY?!?!!?

      Girl to my left: oh hey, I have this friend who sends me links to a website all about that kind of thing. It’s called… Autostraddle?

      Me: OMG AUTOSTRADDLE SEE MY STICKER ON MY LAPTOP I HAVE A STICKER ON MY LAPTOP?!!!!!!!! Um, if for some reason she sends you to a link of a girl with an autoharp, that’s me.
