Queer Dark Comedy Webseries “Little Horribles” Premieres Today

Brittani’s Team Pick:

Today a queer lady webseries released an episode called “Sexual Activity.” This should be the end of the article because what else do I need to say to convince you to watch it. Nothing, right? I will anyway because there are many more reasons. This episode stars series creator, Amy York Rubin and Ann Carr (Louie, The Actress). Also making an appearance is Issa Rae of The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl which we’ve featured on Autostraddle before. This episode is an unflinchingly honest and uncomfortably funny depiction of two girls breaking up.

Little Horribles promises needle-sharp observations of life’s humiliations and unavoidable disappointments and an appearance by Ilana Glazer of Broad City. To catch new episodes (which will be coming out on Wednesdays), subscribe to the Barnacle Studios Youtube Channel. There’s even a trailer to give you a glimpse into all the goodness to come.

Before you go! Autostraddle runs on the reader support of our AF+ Members. If this article meant something to you today — if it informed you or made you smile or feel seen, will you consider joining AF and supporting the people who make this queer media site possible?

Actually, she's probably doing all three of those things concurrently and when she's not doing THAT, she's sleeping. Brittani also went to Yale and feels weird about mentioning it but wants you to know.

  1. Hahahaha just fainting with laughter over here, don’t mind me. I reckon the dark-haired girl could def be a real-life Tina Belcher. But where’s the tea!? There was no tea in the mug!
