It works fairly well, in fact! I grew up on Long Island (don’t judge me, people), and all you need to do is find your local LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) station, and then take it to either Penn Station for Manhattan or to Atlantic Terminal for Brooklyn. Congrats on living in the best place ever :}
