“Obama Pride: LGBT Americans For Obama” VIDEO Features Famous LGBT Americans With Strong Feelings For Obama

Hey so, there’s this election coming up for who’s gonna be in charge of this country? You should vote in it. Some really good-looking homosexual females are featured in this video, as well as others from the LGBT community, and they’d really like you to vote. Actually, they would specifically like you to vote for Obama. George Takei and Jane Lynch are both in it, and neither of them can do any wrong. You can watch the video right now and see for yourself:

  1. “What’s that? No I’m not crying. Why would you think I’m crying? I’m not crying. Why would I be crying? I’ll just be in the bathroom for a minute im feeling a little hayfevery”

  2. Geez Autostraddle!! Why ya always gotta make me cry in the wee hours of the morning?? I am so excited to vote for Obama for a second time. He is a man of honor and heart and THAT’S the kind of president we need at this time . . . I’m going to school to be a teacher and I was out in the field at a high school yesterday. One of the students told me he was gay. I responded by telling him I was too. He lit up and said “Really?!” It was a wonderful moment of support and connection. I don’t know if an adult had ever affirmed his orientation in that way. It was really beautiful. Then later, I told a colleague and she wanted to know if it was legal for me to tell a student I was gay(!). Now, I remember teachers telling me of their wives and husbands. How can it be wrong to reveal to a gay student that I am gay as well? It just can’t. LGBTQ for Obama 2012!!!

  3. I love Obama’s stance on equality, but I hate his stance on drone strikes. I wish we could vote with stipulations.

  4. I don’t think it’s possible not the cry when Jesse Tyler Ferguson does. Or at least I definitely can’t.

  5. that video was gorgeous and completely made me cry. I am so happy/excited/proud that I am now old enough to vote, and that this will be my first time voting in a presidential election. SO MANY FEELINGS

  6. “there’s a lot of people in their graves that waited forever” One simple statement that puts everything in perspective. I am here today because of those queers, it makes me want to live out & proud and to continue fighting. Because of them. <3 oh, the tears

  7. How can anyone with half a conscious vote for Romney. I wait with bated breath for Obama to get re-elected.

  8. God, just the fact that we have all of these wonderful LGBT celebrities who can now make this kind of video… like George Takei said, just the fact that he was able to come out AS a celebrity… it’s so wonderful. I sometimes take some of these things for granted. But it is inspiring.
