NEW MUSIC: Little Brutes

Rachael Cantu has one of those voices that I could listen to for days. We loved her last solo record, Far And Wide, and so we’re excited that she’s back with a brand-new music project, Little Brutes.

Little Brutes is an indie pop duo featuring Harlan Silverman, a fellow LA based musician who shared the stage with Rachael while on tour with B.B. King. Jamming led to writing and recording, and a new EP comprising seven tracks that may be the most beautiful things you’ll hear today.

The self-titled EP is described as “an earnest reflection of the duality of loving life on the road and missing the loved ones left behind”. Have a listen to one of the standouts, “Do It All Again”, below.

The EP is out today. Grab your copy via Amazon or Bandcamp.

  1. Her voice makes my knees weak. EP has been in steady rotation for a solid week and a half already, and I would say my favorites are Sing to Me Sweetly, Do It all Again, and Where I Used to Be in that order.

  2. rachael cantu is awesome and basically the soundtrack to my life
and when she sings saturday with tegan it makes me really happy

    thanks for this!!

  3. I was gonna say, I’m glad you picked my favourite song on the EP to put in the post. But actually, I don’t have a favourite. The more I think about it, the more I decide I love them all equally. Rachael’s voice makes me happy :3
