Great list. I’m going to have to add Lost and Delirious because that’s my favorite “lesbian” movie…to me it’s an amazing one, albeit really depressing. Then again I’m also a fan of High Art so it shouldn’t be surprising.

Good list! Loving Annabelle is a terrible movie, but the sex scene is admittedly pretty hot.
I was also surprised at how good the sex scene was in But I’m a Cheerleader. It was really sweet and sensual in contrast to all the silly campiness.

I know I say this every time Loving Annabelle comes up and I’ve probably already said it on AS too but since it’s not ever really relevant to anyone else and therefore not A BIG DEAL, I feel unvalidated so it still just completely trips me out that it was filmed in the Villa of my all-girls Catholic high school.

I mean, I already spazz every time I recognize parts of the Villa in commercials and TV and stuff but seriously, I can’t even get through that clip without getting all hurrdurr about it. LOVING ANNABELLE! GAY! ALL-GIRLS! CATHOLIC! MINE! ME! GAY!

And then to top it off, I found out that my BritLit teacher had also published a novel about a scandalous teacher-student love affair at a Catholic all-girls school a while back and had turned it into a screenplay (but not Loving Annabelle) with her writing partner who is teaching my youngest sister now at her also all-girls school.

But yeahh, totally a trip.

Nice list…and people, this list is about hot lesbian movie scenes – not good lesbian movies. So Loving Annabelle certainly deserves a spot although I would see this list more as an introduction or personal favorite since there are still so many other lesbian movies not mentioned.
