Listling Without Commentary: Books On the Shelves of My Mom’s Guestroom

Hi. It’s me, Riese. Today is my Mom’s birthday, I think, so I am posting this Listling in her honor, which I compiled while residing in her Suburban Detroit guestroom for 4-5 days in early October, prior to moving out west.

If you want, you should send my Mom an email at mlynbernard [at] att dot net and tell her HAPPY BIRTHDAY. Try to attach some things to the email.

  1. Happy Birthday, Auto-Mom! Thanks for being Riese’s mom and a mom in general and a person who owns those books in particular. Having moms is good. I hope Riese will call you, I think we can remind her if needed.

  2. I had a phase there where I learned about Jewish boxers. I made a spray paint portrait of Benny Leonard. Boxing is the only sport I’ll watch, though even that very rarely. But I do like boxing history and have made portraits of maybe 6 boxers.

  3. Today is my father’s birthday. My father is not as cool as your mom, not by any stretch of the imagination.

    • Happy Birthday to your father. I’m sure he is a very cool guy, yet very few children are able to appreciate their parent’s coolness factor.
And,thank you one and all for your Happy Birthday wishes, I had a great weekend. And yes, Riese did call me!

  4. I really want to borrow books from your mom’s guestroom. Like a Queer Feelings Library of Book.
