It’s not just electronics – the company I work for manufactures medical equipment (some of it electronic, but the stuff I work on is mostly not), and they have suppliers in China, Malaysia, Singapore, the US and Australia.

It’s not quite the same because I’m in Sydney and the coldest it ever gets here is an overnight low of 0C, but I feel you on my gender presentation being linked to the weather.
