Also, if Gluck got so extremely perturbed at people calling them a girl why are we using female pronouns for them? That seems more backwards than their friends in the late 19th century.

Could somebody explain to me how this isn’t gay appropriation of trans history? The whole going by a male name and refusing female pronouns and prefixes seems to look like a trans guy in pretty much every way.
