I really love ‘The deeds of Paksenarrion’
It’s about this lady who doesn’t want to marry the neighbour kid like her father wants her to, so she runs off and joins an army.
Stuff happens then she needs to save everyone. There are three books in the series.

Also the Dragon Age book ‘The last Flight’ just finished it and might read it again some day.
