I’ve always known I was sexually different from the people I’ve grown up with. My town is predominantly white and almost everyone at least portrays themselves as straight. I’ve always believed people should love and be loved for who they are on the inside, not what their exterior is, though when I was younger I was always too scared to voice my opinion so I tried to convince myself what I felt was a phase and that I was straight; just like everyone else. It didn’t work. I know what I like, and my preference partner-wise isn’t just guys, it’s unlimited, like how I believe love is/should be; unlimited. Coming to terms with my sexuality has both brought a weight off my shoulders and put a new one on. I am proud knowing that I am pansexual and I love being pansexual; but alas I have the always lovely closed-minded parents problem, so I am not “out” to them yet. Slowly but surely I hope I am influencing their… “judgementalness” and hopefully making them prepared and ready for the “shock” I will one day bring upon them. Anyways, I love this site, I think it’s a beautiful thing. This is probably the most lengthy about me ever written… Oh,well.
