Adult Expo’s Sex Robot, Lindsay Lohan’s Baseless Sex Tape Rumors Part 146 & More in NSFW Sexy Sunday

ADULT ENTERTAINMENT EXPO: The 2010 Adult Entertainment Expo took place last week in Vegas. TechCrunch has a cool write-up, but maybe Courtney Trouble’s Queer Porn Mafia is more up your alley. Queer porn site Juicy Pink Box was also in attendance. Go queers!

A sadder but poignant look at the Adult Entertainment Expo comes from Rick Lax for the Las Vegas Weekly: “If I’m Surrounded by SO Much Porn, Why Am I So Sad?” “Standing around men who were willing to go to such great lengths to have such fleeting interactions with women brought me back to high school… The saddest part of the AEE isn’t what happens at the convention; it’s what’s going to happen afterwards. It’s what’s going to happen when the attendees fly back home and start comparing the porn stars they just met to the real women in their lives. Suddenly the real women won’t seem so attractive and so sexy.” Hm. do you think women have those same feelings about the porn they watch, or is it a guy thing? Are we allowed to use the term “a guy thing” without getting yelled at by ourselves/Judith Butler? Per  ushe, the comments are intriguing.

Over at the Consumer Electornics Show, “Porn star Ron Jeremy caused a stir in The Great Porn Debate at the Consumer Electronics Show last week by saying that studies have found that “violent video games are a much bigger negative influence on kids”.

Buzzed about things:

Sell your soul to a Real Doll 5.0 with the most-hyped”Roxxxy robot lifesized girlfriend,” an anatomically correct facsimile of a woman dressed for sex, and with “servos” and other electronics to make it seem, well, real. It’s maker calls it the first “sex robot.” Honestly this sort of makes me want to barf or read The SCUM Manifesto on a mountaintop.”

Detach yourself from real life and the fact that girls you f*ck are human beings with SexNGame’s Project X – “This multi-player online game is entirely sex based and lets you be the master of your own bedroom experience from outfits to positions, toys, and the girls including characters based on real life porn stars like Bree Olsen.”

Porn in 3D, well, Sasha Grey doesn’t like it: “I personally don’t want to see adult films in 3-D, I think that’s a little too much. It kills the fantasy.”

Innovative Technology? To Compete With Free, Adult Biz Turns to Twitter Porn And Steampunk Phone Sex.

Las Vegas Weekly notes that “recessions come and go, but sex is forever.”

Meanwhile, “a group of students from a Seattle-area church joined XXXChurch to spread Jesus’ love at the annual AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas this past weekend.” Thanks guys!

PORN AWARDS: The AVN Awards also took place in Vegas last weekend and it looks like the Queer Porn scene is starting to stake its claim in the mainstream porn industry. Courtney Trouble was nominated for Best Feature Film and for best musical soundtrack on two different films. Good Releasing was nominated for Best New Video Production Company. Others involved in Queer porn that were nominated at the AVN’s include Jiz Lee, Dylan Ryan, Carols Batts, Kimberly Kane, Eon, and Good Vibes: Courtney Trouble blogs about AVN nominations.

SEXY TUMBLR ALERT: Weed and Hips has alt half-naked girls, boyshorts being removed, and every Wednesday it’s all about weed. Like marijuana weed.

TV: Fleshbot has your guide to Sexy TV to watch this season. It includes Secret Diary of a Call Girl, which has a threesome. (@fleshbot)

LINDAY LOHAN: “What we know so far: the video is a whopping 47 seconds, and allegedly features Lindsay naked with an unknown male. Hustler’s already been offered the tape, and declined (presumably because their not Lindsay porn was much, much sexier). Lindsay is (of course) denying the tape’s existence…but the Fleshbot jury will remain undecided until we actually see the tape in question.” (@fleshbot)

SEX ADDICTION: Annie Sprinkle Debunks Sex Addiction: Sex addiction often makes a disease out of what is often quite reasonable sexual behavior. It emphasizes negative aspects of sex. It takes away some of the personal responsibility for sexual choices and blames problems on a ‘disease’.

VADGE: 5 Vagina Products We Could Do Without. (@thefrisky)

G-SPOT: The Case of the Incredible Disappearing G-Spot: “On January 3rd 2010 the Times published an article claiming that, much like the Abominable snowman, Bigfoot and the tooth fairy, the G-spot is a myth.  Happy fucking New Year!  Of course, this ridiculous fiction posing as fact came to a surprise to the millions of women who are aware of their G-spot and take great pleasure in it.”

NAKED GIRLS!!!!!!!: Just warning you, in case you are offended by nudey bits. I’ve searched everywhere for more info on this film and sadly I don’t know if we will get to see it in the US. If you live in Spain, you will have to (graphically) tell us about this film: Eloise: Spanish movie with girl on girl luuuhvv.

ART: Look NSFW! Gawker artists have an exhibit of pieces generally not suitable for the work place: NSFW Art.

PETA PEOPLE: Porn star Sasha Grey does an ad for Peta If you haven’t read the Rolling Stone article on Sasha Grey, you should. It is an interesting snippet into the mind of a woman in a very controversial field. Read the comments too, they are … interesting: Sasha Grey: The Dirtiest Girl In the World. (@rolling stone)

MEGAN FOX: Megan Fox, that pesky little bisexual ( See note), has replaced Victoria Beckham as the new Emporio Armani women’s underwear model. Also, you can check out E!’s complete celebrity underwear gallery and then you know; Megan Fox Lands a Job for being Pretty.

REVIEW: “Review: Even More Bang for Your Buck 2: Buck Angel is known widely as “the man with a pussy” and is a hugely popular trans porn star.” (@sugarbutch)

CISGENDER: “We recently received a question about the word cisgender in the blurb for the hot new movie Crash Pad Series Volume 5: The Revolving Door. Since I’m sure that lots of other people have similar questions, I thought I’d explain what the word means and why we used it. Cisgender refers to people who experience and present their gender in a way that’s aligned with the sex of their body. It contrasts with transgender, which refers to people who experience their gender as different from the physical sex they were born to.” (@goodvibrations)

  1. I have never been so happy I was a lesbian as when I read the comments for that Roxxxy article.

    • I don’t know how to feel about that Rick Lax article. I think he makes a good point about how the real problem with comparing porn women to real women isn’t that the porn women are so much more hotter than the real women, but that the sex worker’s endless interest, patience, and arousal is all a performance, and people don’t act like that when they’re in real relationships and they’re not getting paid.

But the rest of the article felt less reflective and more self-pitying male whine that the porn stars don’t share his interests and don’t want to date him and that the regular girls aren’t porn stars. And his last paragraph suddenly conflates “porn actresses” and “attractive women” which doesn’t seem like a very healthy conflation to make.

It gives me feelings. Mixed ones.

      • Woops. I don’t know how this became a reply to JentheJew’s post.

Although as long as I’m here: @JentheJew… word.

  2. I have never understood the problem with how vagina’s taste or smell, and that’s probably why I’m a big ol’ lesbian.

  3. Robot seems interesting and if one was to purchase a female sex robot you might save more on going out to the bars.

  4. My girlfriend and I were worried all day that the NSFW post was canceled, which doesn’t really work for us, because we prefer to worship on Sundays. Thanks!

  5. okay. this is majorly off topic. but, i just saw avatar.
and now, all i want to do is have lots of sex with zoe saldana and/or michelle rodriguez.

and all through sherlock holmes, i was drooling/staring longingly at rachel mcadams.
i honestly don’t understand why all females are not lesbians.
it baffles me to no end.

    that is all.
    carry on.

    • totally same here. just saw sherlock holmes the other day, it was ace anyway but rachel mcadams just made it so much better. big fan of her cool suit towards the end.

  6. It’s a good thing that Megan Fox is so damn unlikeable, otherwise my head my explode at how hot she is. Thanks for being an asshole, Megan. I can go to sleep now.

  7. I dated a guy for 3 months once that had a porn addiction. I can attest to the fact that they do compare all other girls to porn stars, and it is hard for them to be satisfied/attracted to a “normal” girl. I learned this when we only made out like 3 times in 3 months. And that’s it as far as anything intimate went. I enjoyed his company, but i started to feel self conscious because he said “he didn’t like to makeout”, but he did like to watch porn 3 hours a day. Every day. No joke. I had to let him go because of how bad he made me feel about myself, and I don’t even think he was meaning to.

then I finally went for my gf:)

  8. I didn’t know XXXChurch was international! They were at Sexpo in Australia! When my boy and I saw them we thought it was some sort of sex-positive church or a fetish group.

Also, speaking of Sexpo: you know you have a reputation when a bouncy Mexican porn star in a barely-there bikini jumps up to your baggy-clad self and says “OMG! You were from the Vagina Monologues! My mother-in-law loved that show!!”. And then five minutes later you go past the Fetish/Domme stall and the resident dominatrix critiques your attempt at being the “woman who loves to make vaginas happy” (“it was good, but could use a bit more work”).

(and then said domme invited me for a garage sale at her place…EEE AWESOME FASHION :D)

  9. i have seen eloise and its actually a rather beautiful yet quite sad story. that, combined with two hot women and a hot kissing scene plus the sex scene is made full of win and surely a must-see.

    • Just finished watching it right now, and you’re spot on, great film.

Thanks for the tip off autostraddle, you’re sending me to bed a happy, yet slightly melancholy lady.

  10. Are you guys really running something on the latest Lindsay Lohan sex tape rumors? This started with the Mirror which has done at least 7 fabricated stories on Lohan within the last year. I expect this nonsense with a sleazy English tabloid but from autostraddle. The woman has enough made up stories about her. Why would you add to the mix? These rumors come out every 4 to 5 months and are always proven to be baseless.

  11. I just checked Fleshbot’s site and indeed their source is Mirror as expected. I am not sure if I can have interest in a site that publishes a story which had no foundation in reality and maligns a queer individual. You should be ashamed. It is truly a pathetic moment by Autostraddle.

    • Really? Um, we didn’t say it was true. It’s just funny ’cause it’s not true. We hope our readers are sophisticated enough to not take any of that shit seriously.

    • i’d just like to make this point, if i may —

while i understand how easy it is to jump to conclusions and yell at people, i think it’s funny that you demanded we feel ashamed, since that’s what the media wants us all to feel when they run sensationalized stories about sex tapes. the ‘sex tape industry’ wouldn’t even exist if we didn’t live in a society that despises women for having sex, yet demands that we fuck them on a daily basis.

i hope our readers can appreciate that we run these stories on AS to remind them of the ridiculous and somewhat hilarious truth: PEOPLE HATE IT WHEN WE HAVE SEX and will leap at the chance to call us all sluts.

and really the only Lilo tapes we’re interested in around here would be like, the deleted scenes from Parent Trap and Mean Girls. you know?

      • I pray for the day they come out with deleted scenes for Mean Girls and 10 Things I Hate About You.

        Just sayin’.

  12. 1. I love Sasha Grey. Brain, body and boldness…LOVE.
    2. Everybody keeps talking about how Megan Fox is only good for playing sexy. Do we want her to stop… HELL-TO-THE-NO!!!
    3. @BrownBear. I’ve been wanting to have sex with Michelle Rodriguez since Girlfight and Zoe Saldana since Guess Who & After Sex (played a lesbian opposite Mila Kunis, ugghhh) so AVATAR just made it worse.

  13. Thanks so much again for sharing my post! You grrls rocks! Love this zine <3 Whoa Megan Fox is a fox… Always enjoy the eyecandy :P
