I think it’s a good think that finally TV is putting some gay male teens on TV. It’s usually done sensitively and creatively, whereas if it’s something like those two girls on the OC, it’s a bit like trying to grab ratings for the Frat boys.

I really don’t get why the article writer seems to suggest there are more young gay men on TV than gay women. What rock does she live under? The article discusses just 3 boys, then cites about 8 examples of other shows featuring gay girls. Hardly shows an imbalance in favour of males, does it? Hello!

sometimes it happens on my teevee and i have to restart the entire cable system which takes like 20 minutes but is worth it. also i will go through a ton of youtube videos of the same event just to see if i can find one without the delay.

also we are in an airport and michelle rodriguez is 95% sure here, i think she is a lesbian, she is wearing serious boots.

Gotta love how the contestants on Family Feud are so proud of themselves for stating the obvious. Except that one guy who cared more about making a stab at Ellen than about the money he could have won if he actually tried.

the thing about no lesbians on teevee makes me sad and also i’m annoyed that they said it’s “not a discomfort with lesbians, just a fascination with bisexuals.” i mean obvs TV is obsessed with female bisexuals but that’s not mutually exclusive with a discomfort with lesbians – dear tv, you are so obviously uncomfortable with lesbians! that is all, love rachel

Dammit. I liked knowing the horror of the Marriage Ref was out there doing God’s work in exposing mundane, oppresive straight marriages from a haughty celebrity point of view. I don’t want equal time in that cagefight. The bad boys who agreed to being on the show deserve to lose Betty and all other stereotypical icon images from their home. Cough up the Cher CDs and Liza playbills, boys, you betrayed us big time.
