wouldn’t the tone of the article, and the mention of her age be an explicit diss on her for being so closeted? i don’t think she’s really a midlife lesbian (if you know what i mean) and i get the impression people don’t like it.
and also on the age thing, didn’t peaches specifically mention goldfrapp once in explaining the line “lick my crowsfeet”?

Yeah Goldfrapp was on the L word. I think that everyone on that show is gay even if they say they’re not – they’re in denial.
