My own peice of gay happiness: I finally came out to my brother, and hes cool with it!!! Said hes a little sad I won’t experience a family (I’ll work on him with that) but that he doesn’t find me disgusting and he won’t cut me off! I love family who aren’t biased bigots <3

HEY! I added to the lesbian happiness-in-the-world quotient! I went to the DC courthouse and got my marriage license this week. And it was totally anti-climatic! No protesters! No long lines! I faced the bureaucracy and I SIGNED ON THE DOTTED LINE!

This is Helena, half of the “lesbian happiness” mentioned in this piece. We wanted to give a shout-out to Robin Roemer (she’s the one who captured all the bliss so well).
