Last Comic Standing is a reality television show/stand-up competition that airs on NBC. You might have caught an episode or two in the past in one of its many iterations. None of those will be as good as the current season because the current season has a tiny Canadian named DeAnne Smith. The way things are running this time around is the first four episodes are called invitationals. 100 comedians were invited to perform for the panel of judges and a handful of those folks move onto the semi-finals. Each of these invitational episodes moves through 25 comics and I have it on good authority that the episode tonight includes the group lucky enough to count DeAnne Smith amongst them.
