Australian ladies, your sleepless nights are over because Tegan & Sara’s official Australian tour details have finally been announced! The band will playing headliner shows with The Jezabels and Astronautalis in every major city – except you Tasmania, sorry. If that isn’t enough, they’re also appearing at the Groovin’ In The Moo festivals alongside silverchair, the Vampire Weekend, Empire of the Sun, Spoon and more.
Tickets go on sale Feb 12 and Feb 16 respectively. Who’s going?

Haha. I’m thinking doing the Moo in Maitland, it’s a killer line up. But I need to find some wheels first.
I need help knowing what to do with my life, in this regard.
I am not sure which show(s) to go to. I’ve never been to Australia, and would have about 7 – 9 days there total (so the more concerts I can catch the better). I can fly into Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
Also, are the Moo shows close to any of the headliner shows in terms of location? Like if I flew in for the Sydney headliner would I be able to get to Maitland easily, etc.?
Any recommendations?
Okay If you want to see the most shows, this is probably the way to go:
– Fly directly into Brisbane for the headliner show on the 4th
– Fly to Sydney for the headliner show on the 7th.
– The next day, get an early morning train to Maitland for the Moo. The trip takes 3 hours and you’d have to probably have to stay overnight. But it’s possible.
– Fly to Melbourne for the headliner show on the 11th and then fly home.
