I only just now stumbled across an excellent article published in the Guardian a few weeks ago about celebrity music brands. The article, ‘Sorry Perez, you just don’t get it,’ offers up Perez Hilton as a cautionary tale for mixing music and branding without really understanding your audience. It’s spot on.
