Re: I regret the fact that I haven’t taken too many photos on this trip. Just a quick snapshot here and there. I’ve needed a little break from my camera. I’ll try to be better with it from now on! I feel like sometimes as an artist of any kind there’s this constant compulsion to record & present everything beautiful or appropriate and sometimes it’s nice to take a break from that.

In any event the pictures you did take are per ush, amazing, I like the last one a lot.

Robin is qualified to speak as a one-week tourist in Buenos Aires, which is exactly what she did, sharing her experiences and photographs as a tourist. It would be inappropriate for her to speak about the country in more general terms as you have (Great) because she doesn’t have the authority to do so.

I know LOTS of them and more than 90% are not. You spent tooooo lil time in Argentina to know. Just be humble to accept it. The WORST thing you can say about BsAs is what you’ve just said: “There’s good and bad people everywhere.” Es tratar de relativizar algo que, en bsAs, no es relativizable. I say that to you cuzz i’ve already thought like you, but some 5 years in BsAs brought me down to earth about that country. Is you try to rent something there, they’ll try to steal your deposit FOR SURE; tryingt o have a business there? Better stick with other foreigners, or you’ll end up poor.

Unfortunatelly, it is no use saying this to someone who has just been mesmerised by Buenos Aires. That’s actually what they do to steal you in the end. Just like Peru!
