Kate McKinnon made an appearance on Conan in which she managed to bust out her Justin Bieber and Ellen impressions. Most importantly though — she’s searching for cats. That’s right, Kate McKinnon is on the prowl for cats. Someone help her out.

Whatever This Is follows a couple of production assistants in New York which is fine and good but I was drawn in because at the end of the first episode, one woman asks for another woman’s phone number and it seemed promising. So you watch this first episode and then we’ll both watch the second episode and then we’ll reconvene and discuss how wrong or right we were.

YouTube was being very YouTube and cut together a bunch of queer athletes and notable figures over some inspirational music to celebrate equality for all athletes. There are some familiar faces like Belle Brockhoff, Brittney Griner, Jason Collins, and even Hannah Hart in some sort of jersey situation you’ll probably appreciate.

There a couple of big releases on Friday. One of which is The Fault Is In Our Stars. All I know about this movie is that it’s based on a book and that you will probably bawl your eyes out when you watch it. If anyone has feelings related to this franchise, please share. I guess it’s worth mentioning that noted self-proclaimed non-feminist and woodland nymph Shailene Woodley stars.

Now on to the release that I will probably find a way to talk about on this here website as many times as possible forever and ever Amen: Orange is the New Black. A few days ago, a couple of scenes popped up on this random YouTube channel and I enjoyed this one quite a lot because it reminds me of playing Yahtzee with my best friend in college.

This is Brittani’s Video Party, where I bring some of the “best” videos from all over my internet together so we can clap, cry or deconstruct. Have you ever gotten to a video and it already has 33 million views and you wonder where the heck have you been? Well I’m here to help you so that you see it when it only has 32 million views. Aim low, world. Aim low.

Brittani Nichols is a Los Angeles based comedy person. When she's not tweeting about white people or watching television, she's probably eating pizza. Actually, she's probably doing all three of those things concurrently and when she's not doing THAT, she's sleeping. Brittani also went to Yale and feels weird about mentioning it but wants you to know.

  1. Also also also in the Proud to Play video, out soccer players Megan Rapinoe, Lori Lindsey, and Sally Shipard! And out hockey player Caitlin Cahow! Although Caitlin, Lori, and Shipard are kind of blink-and-you-miss-them.

  2. This makes me want to cry. I want to be best friends with all of them. And also roll around with Samira Wiley or have showertime fun with her.

  3. I have feelings related to The Fault In Ours Stars franchise, but I cannot begin to fathom them into coherent phrases.

Just know that yes, crying and laughter will ensue, often at the same time

    • “my thoughts are stars I cannot fathom into constellations”. I feel the same way.

  4. actually the ladyhugging part of whatever this is turns out pretty weird/disappointing, but I like the overall gist of it.

  5. Next week is finals week, I am trying really hard to convince myself that OINTB doesn’t actually come out tomorrow. I need to be productive.

  6. The gay boy on Whatever This Is is Dylan Marron, who voices Carlos on Welcome to Night Vale! I just realized this while watching it.

  7. WTI takes a couple episodes to get going, but ultimately really doesn’t go anywhere – you just aren’t as bored/annoyed with it by the 3rd episode. :\ The Outs was by the same people and was probably better.
