Brittani’s Video Party: Black Women are Disappointed with OK Go

Ping Master General, Chloe Howl is back with a new video for “Disappointed.” The LA Derby Dolls are in the video which is great since I’ve recently discovered that maybe my type is “derby girl” but who REALLY knows. We’re all learning about ourselves together, isn’t it grand. Anyway, this video is not nearly as gay as I personally would have preferred (I prefer 100%) but I think you’ll enjoy it anyway.

OK Go has a new video for their song, “The Writing’s on the Wall.” I don’t know how they have time to actually make music with all the practice they must do to pull off these videos. I bet there’s one dude in the group who is like,”ENOUGH ALL READY, I just wanna jam!” and all the other dudes are like, “You ARE replaceable!” So anyway, seems like a fun dynamic. I don’t if the song’s any good because I truly wasn’t paying attention to it so I guess maybe the should rethink this strategy.

“Black Women Run Hollywood” takes us into the world of a secret society of black actresses that reveal Hollywood’s biggest secret to their newest member, Jurnee Smolett. Members of the society include Meagan Good, Alfre Woodard, Tracee Ellis Ross, Retta, Loretta Devine, and former comedy crush Nicole Byer. It’s very funny. You should watch it. Good thing I put it right here.

Back in January I talked about a webseries called Féminin/Féminin which I liked and it seemed like you all did as well. Good news y’all. It’s back with seven more episodes. You can watch all of them on their website so go do that and if you never saw the first one, here it is for your viewing pleasure.

Brittani Nichols is a Los Angeles based comedy person. When she's not tweeting about white people or watching television, she's probably eating pizza. Actually, she's probably doing all three of those things concurrently and when she's not doing THAT, she's sleeping. Brittani also went to Yale and feels weird about mentioning it but wants you to know.

Brittani has written 310 articles for us.

Wow thanks for posting Feminin/Feminin! this is the first time I’ve seen it. It reminds me of the L Word in that they are always in their recreation time, you never see them work. Also there a lots of white women. I liked the story potential though. but god knows I probably have to subscribe and pay, right? I have to watch my money at the moment.
