About Fikri

Fikri Alkhatib is a full-time student and sometime writer-of-the-internets from Singapore. Despite functioning optimally at temperatures above 20°C, she has thus far survived three winters having made it through a BSc in Government from the LSE and is now en route to an MA in Sociology at Columbia University. Fikri is interested in exploring the intersections of race/ethnicity, gender, sexuality, migration and postcoloniality, developing better prevention, intervention and support systems around domestic violence, working to stop island nations from drowning in melting icebergs' tears, and that butt wiggle cats do before they pounce on things.
