I know this comment is terribly overdue, but I must point out that Marta Jaciubek-McKeever from Fan Death (and Girl Nobody before that) played Taya, Alice Pieszecki’s bass-playing “coming out moment” girl from college. (Um, please say someone remembers that, at least, so my knowing this isn’t SO ridiculous?)

Audiostraddle is great, hey. I think what I like the most about it is that it’s so obvious I should have come up with it myself. But didn’t. I’m myspacing Lonely Forest now, they’re really good songwriters, really tight. Let us know how their show goes.

I found it hard to find good information about Fan Death, thanks for the background on Dandelion. That clip is amazing – she has great moves, I can see why she’d perform at Pride. Fan Death are definitely a band I would go and see live, I hope they tour down in Australia.

I’m downloading Lissie Trullie’s EP from itunes right now Thanks for the recommendation – I remembered reading about her earlier in the year, maybe after sxsw, but I don’t think she her music released in Australia yet and so I just forgot about it. She makes me want to brush the hair out of her eyes.
I hope the xx come to Australia.
