Artist Spotlight: Snow tha Product

Ten Reasons Snow Tha Product Needs To Be On Your Rap Radar

“Immaculate flow, Latin rapper that’s dope/I was gone for a year, now I’m back for the throne.”

– “Holy Shit,”  STP

1. Her flow is so so sick. Think Twista meets Big Pun meets Trina like you can’t catch this chick ‘cuz she’s already twenty syllables ahead of you.
2. She is one hundred percent Mexican-American from Cali now residing in Texas.
3. She came out with a mixtape FIRST which is something that cannot be skipped over when it comes to hip-hop. Download her latest: Unorthodox.5
4. Can we just admit that she’s smoking-ass hot? Like for realz…

5. She raps about her real life: being the daughter of immigrants, being bullied at school, overcoming haters, and being a chick in the rap game. You won’t hear about her poppin’ her p*ssy or droppin’ it for some dudes to watch. Thank God.
6. Attitude: Snow tha Product is hard as f*ck without being completely unbelievable. Put her in a cipher with Kreayshawn and let’s see what happens.
7. She flaunts her heritage like it’s a fresh pair of bamboo earrings. Listen for her spittin’ en Español and throwing slick mariachi inspired beats onto her tracks.
8. Her real name is Claudia Feliciano. The other half of my family is full of crazy Felicianos. I wish she was part of our clan. So actually maybe number 8 is just for me.
9. She started her own record label, Product Entertainment, before she turned 22. She is a young woman diving head first into a male dominated music genre and she’s doing it, and doing it well.
10. Because Nicki Minaj needs a challenge, an equal and Snow Tha Product might just be the one.

  1. Why is it that anytime a female musician becomes successful, SOMEONE gotta call her “The Female (insertmalemusicianhere)”…?

    • i was only using other already established/familiar rappers to provide a reference for her rap style

twista for Guinness book record spit fire delivery
big pun for being a badass latino rapper with also a super fast bilingual flow
and trina (who is a woman) with one of the biggest egos, deepest voices, and down south sexy thing going on

snow tha product is still making a name for herself. maybe one day someone will use her as a reference for another rapper on the come up.

i dig what you’re saying though. i wasn’t trying to put her into some male rapper’s box.

      • Oh yeah, I didn’t even notice your comparison like that because it was a legitimate musical comparison… I was inspired by the top rated comment on that video calling her “the female Eminem”, which I don’t see much resemblance in their styles…

  2. All valid reasons! I dig this chick big time. She definitely brings her A-game and shes got a really fresh sound.

  3. I love how she is one hundred percent Mexican American.

I myself am one hundred percent Mexican French Spanish and Lebanese – all one hundred percent of me is all of that

  4. I’m definitely going to check her music out. I used to listen to a lot of hip hop and rap but then I got tired of the drugs, girls always sexing, etc. Maybe because I lived in a part of Houston where it was reality until I moved away. I am 100% Mexican American so this is really cool to see a female rapping and NOT talking about “dropping her p*ssy.” Thanks for giving me some rap to check out:)

  5. i downloaded her mixtape when i saw her interview on world star hip hop.. i love her holy shit freestyle.. she can definitely rap and she got a pretty good ear for beats…

  6. In my opinion Snow can take out Nicky Minaj in a heartbeat. She’s not only more talented but she is also way classier & not to mention better looking. She is real & Nicky is way to fake for my taste. I bump all of Snow’s music all day, all week! Nicky is washed up & it’s time to let a real Queen be on top.
