Hi guys! We're back! We'll explain how/why that happened in a bit but for now I'm just glad that we're back, Tinkerbell was in a state. In the meantime, our interview with Charlene from Gimme Sugar has disappeared so we're working on that.
This is a Daily Fix in progress, but we just wanted to put something new up here to indicate that we still exist and more-or-less still love you.
LEZMAG: British lesbian magazine DIVA's latest issue is online and includes Top 50 Power Lesbians, Rachel Shelley's column about a new British lesbian show, a Tori Amos article and um, other stuff!
GOT MILK, LIKED IT, IS AIMING FOR THE STARS: Cleve Jones is happy. As happy as he has ever been, thank you. He has a labor union job he loves, powerful allies in Hollywood and Washington, guys to date. Best of all, a new generation of gay activists has embraced him as the mentor he once had, the man whose story he helped deliver to the screen in the movie "Milk." (@associated press)
MICHAEL JACKSON: An incredible performance medley from the 1995 MTV Music Awards including some INCREDIBLE dance numbers (second half mostly), and a sweet little speech at the six-minute mark to Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough, The Way You Make Me Feel, Scream, Beat It, Black Or White and Billie Jean, Dangerous and You Are Not Alone -- I died at like 6:30, p.s. (@suicide blonde):
TRANS: An IT Exec with BMC Software shares her story of transitioning in the workplace: Transitioning is not the same as just saying ‘I’m gay or I’m lesbian’ because people don’t have to out themselves if they don’t want to. When you transition, it a physical transformation that people will absolutely begin to see over a period of time. (@the glass hammer)
FINE I WILL GO SEE BRUNO CAUSE I NEED TO HAVE MY OWN SELF-RIGHTEOUS OPINION ON THE MATTER: Real Journalists are unwilling to confront Bruno on his homophobia - except Matt Lauer! (@queerty)
