I used to have that damn sony phone too. Mine was not moisture friendly. It never even got wet, but the humidity outside would cause the screen to go white and stuff. I still liked that phone though. Then I got sick of not being able to see my stuff, and I bought an HTC and I love it.

Wirefly.com is the best. I got all of our Verizon phones from them and will be upgrading to the Incredible and using Wirefly again.

Definitely Jules. You could end up having to wear a pirate shirt on national television.

I’ve had my Incredible for a couple of weeks and love it too. No problems here with sound quality and the speakerphone works great.

Regarding the availablity, I originally had it on backorder through LetsTalk.com but they kept pushing back the delivery date (from June 16 to August 5. I cancelled that order and placed one with Wirefly. Got my phone in 6 days.

Oh and there’s nothing worse than a low talker. You can get yourself in trouble with a low talker.

I have always had verizon. I have never cared about having a smart phone (especially because I also have a newish ipod touch) … but now I think I want this.

I have no idea what brand my case is. It was the one sold in the store, so it can’t be too hard for you to find. I usually spend a lot of time looking for cases, but this one was just fine & didn’t add much bulk. I also got a Zagg shield for the front. It’s a bit tricky to get the case over the shield, but it’s worth the effort.

A really good case is one Verizon sells that has a subtle carbon fiber appearance. They come in 2 or 3 colors including black which I got. But DON’T plan on putting a stock Zagg type protective film on the front because the case will interfere with it big time and push the edges back. It is imperative to cut about 1/16″ off the edge of the Zagg all the way around and then the cover will not scrape its perimeter.

Verizon customer service? Awesome! First of all, they are actually in the states. And they are incredibly helpful. Any time I’ve called –and with my Verizon phones, which I’ve had for 10 years, seldom ever happens–they’ve been extremely polite and very knowledgeable. Also, wait times were minimal. You will appreciate their people as much as you love the phone!
