45 Recipes Good Enough To Grill For

Hello and welcome to this thing we’re doing where we help you figure out what you’re gonna put in your mouth this week. Some of these are recipes we’ve tried, some of these are recipes we’re looking forward to trying, all of them are fucking delicious. Tell us what you want to put in your piehole or suggest your own recipes, and next week we’ll check in and talk about which things we made, which things we loved, and which things have changed us irreversibly as people. Last week, we ate berries.

This time of year, there’s exciting things happening for a lot of people. Canada Day! America Day! Perhaps a long weekend! Excuse to break out the Slip n’ Slide! We all celebrate in different ways; for instance, if you’re my neighbors, you celebrate this time of year by setting of firecrackers literally every hour of every day starting around June 17th. Another option — and one I can wholeheartedly recommend — is grilling.

Grilling (and its close relation barbecuing) don’t always work out as fun as we had hoped; sometimes there are just sad overcooked frozen burger patties and hot dogs, or frozen Boca Burgers and Tofu Pups. But whether you’re hosting the shindig on your own back patio or headed to someone else’s, this is the year when you have so many options that you can’t possibly go wrong. Grill on, friends and comrades.

  1. I just got a grill and am so damn stoked about grilling – just gonna save all of this!

Last night’s dinner: grilled rib-eye with grilled shallots and garlic on the side. (The second-dinner sandwich I made with the steak, shallots, and bbq sauce on white bread was also totally banging.)

  2. Is it too early in the week and day to think about having a queer bbq at the beach to make some of these?
